Omega Seamaster 300

A mythic diver watch, the next Rolex submariner 5513...

Some examples were issued to the Royal Navy divers in the 70's. This one is a civilian model, with spring bars and unmarked dial and back.

Stainless steel case, perfect original black dial. The plastic insert of the bezel shows some ageing but still looks nice.

Calibre 552.

Rare French Navy Tudor Black Submariner

French Navy divers, case # 94010, cal ETA, mercedes hands. Marked MN 82 on back.   (MN is for Marine Nationale.) Extremely rare with a black dial, looks exactly like its parent Rolex submariner 5513.

These watches were issued to the commando marines aboard active French Navy ships, dedicated to inflitration, underwater demolition, mines clearing, etc. Read more about French Navy Tudors.

Civilian Tudor Black Submariner

Case # 7928, the movement is the famous Rolex-derived caliber 390. A creative idiot had customised the back in order to open it... However, the case is still waterproof, even if I don't recommend to swim with this watch. The black dial is original, with nicely yellowed markers and assorted mercedes hands.

NOS Olechs & Wajs Caribean 1000

Another mythic diver watch, probably used by several Marines in place of their issue watches. Monoblock stainless steel case, movement by ETA (17 jewels). Rotating bezel. Perfect black dial. The plastic glass is 5 mm thick. It is the archetype of the diver watch : waterproof tested to 1000 meters (3000 ft) !

The back still has the clear protective plastic.
